- Our unit is on the second floor, and the end unit has a unique side window.
- Check-in time is 3 pm
- Check-out time is 11 am
- Please wash any sand or grass off your feet and/or beach toys and beach chairs before entering the unit.
- We have a large toy box on the lanai with beach chairs, an umbrella, fins, and masks.
- Please do not sit on living room furniture with damp bathing suits.
- Mid-day airport departures are crowded, with several flights processing passengers simultaneously.
- Evening flights are relatively fast and easy.
- Drop off your partner with the luggage while you return your rental car.
- If you are flying back to the mainland, you must have your checked baggage inspected for bugs before you go to the airline check-in counter. They will x-ray your bags for fruit before you go to the check-in counter and put an OK sticker on the handle.
- Don't get to the front of the airline check-in line only to find out you have to go back and get inspected for buggy fruit.
- You may take back Maui onions (even from the grocery store) and some of the tropical plants if they have been packaged commercially.
- We have to charge you 18.5 hotel tax plus sales tax, and then we pay the state what we collect from you.
- FYI: We pay about $25,00 a year in property taxes for our condo and about $1360 a month in homeowners' fees.
- Hawaii is expensive. Duh.. but worth it!
